The Kamoa-Kakula Copper Complex is the fastest-growing, and largest high-grade copper operation in the world. Phase 1 production commenced in May 2021. Phase 2 began production 12 months later. Phase 3 is currently under development, including Africa’s largest single-line, direct-to-blister smelter with a capacity of 500,000 tonnes per year of approximately 99%-pure blister copper. Kamoa-Kakula is powered by 100% clean hydroelectricity.
