KAMOA COPPER SA is looking for a Material Specialist

The Kamoa Copper Mine is a joint venture between Ivanhoe Mines 39.6%) Zijin Mining Group （39.6%Crystal River Global Limited （0.8%）and the Government of the Democratic Republic of Congo 20%.It's a very large, near-surface, flat-lying, stratiform copper deposit with adjacent prospective exploration areas within the Central African Copperbelt, at approximately 25 kilometres west of the town of Kolwezi and about 270 kilometres west of the provincial capital of Lubumbashi.

To ensure accurate and clean materials records by resolving duplications and other materials issues in the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems. The incumbent analyses and maintains material records and proposes new reorder points (ROP) and quantities (ROQ) while maintaining data accuracy and standards

You will have the following:

• Must have a Certificate in Supply chain or Materials management or equivalent
• A Diploma in Supply chain or Materials management or equivalent is preferred
• Must have at least 8 years technical experience in a Supply chain department in the mining sector
• Must have at least 3 years of analysis and reporting in the Mining industry.
• Proficiency in business English is mandatory. Knowledge of French, Swahili, and Mandarin will be considered highly advantageous.

Your Key Performance Activities will include but not limited to:

• Ensure accurate and clean materials record
• Ensure and maintain data cleanliness of stock categories, and catalogue codes
• Validate ROPs and ROQ by analysing stock data
• Maintain the ERP system data
• Coordinate the initial counts for stock takes
• Skills Transfer and Transformation- Support the organisational Skills Transfer agenda
• People- Manage self and show up as a good team player
• Finance - Monitor costs or expenses to achieve cost efficiencies and reduce waste
• HSEQ : Integrate HSEQ into all work processes
• Stakeholder management - Build working relationships across teams and functional lines to enhance work delivery, collaboration and innovation
