KAMOA COPPER SA is looking for a Senior Officer, IT
The Kamoa Copper Mine is a joint venture between Ivanhoe Mines (39.6%), Zijin Mining Group (39.6%), Crystal River Global Limited (0.8%) and the Government of the Democratic Republic of Congo (20%). It's a very large, near-surface, flat-lying, stratiform copper deposit with adjacent prospective exploration areas within the Central African Copperbelt, at approximately 25 kilometers west of the town of Kolwezi and about 270 kilometers west of the provincial capital of Lubumbashi.

To plan, organise and coordinate to ensure effective maintenance and operation of Smelter plant IT, equipment in support of production targets. The incumbent acts as SME and supervises officers to ensure the efficient and effective operation of the Smelter IT equipment.
You will have the following:
- Must have a degree or Diploma in Information Technology.
- Must have at least 6 years’ experience in information management within a medium or large enterprise, preferably in a mining environment.
- Must have a minimum of 2 years’ supervisory experience.
- Proficiency in business English is mandatory. Knowledge of French and Swahili will be considered highly advantageous.
