KAMOA COPPER SA is looking for a Warehouse Superintendent II.

The Kamoa Copper Mine is a joint venture between Ivanhoe Mines (39.6%), Zijin Mining Group (39.6%), Crystal River Global Limited (0.8%) and the Government of the Democratic Republic of Congo (20%). It's a very large, near-surface, flat-lying, stratiform copper deposit with adjacent prospective exploration areas within the Central African Copperbelt, at approximately 25 kilometres west of the town of Kolwezi and about 270 kilometres west of the provincial capital of Lubumbashi.

Monitor, coordinate and control warehousing business processes. The successful candidates supervise a team. The scope/portfolio of this role includes receipt, storage and dispatching of goods, raw materials, supplies and spare parts for mining operations, and overseeing security, sanitation, and administrative functions. 


You will have the following:

  • Warehousing Diploma. SAPICS inventory management preferred. 
  • Fluency in English is essential Swahili and French advantageous. 
  • 5-8 years in an ERP- managed warehouse, with several years in a supervisory capacity 
  • Must have at least 3 years working in a copper smelting environment.

You will have advanced skills and knowledge in:

  • Knowledge of typical products and terms in the mining and manufacturing industry (including engineering, warehousing, finance and logistics)
  • Inventory & Warehouse control. 
  • Experience in inventory, supervision. 

Technical Skills should include:

  • ERP software knowledge 
  • Technical product knowledge
