KAMOA COPPER SA is looking for a Senior Superintendent II, Specialized Technical Support

The Kamoa Copper Mine is a joint venture between Ivanhoe Mines (39.6%), Zijin Mining Group (39.6%), Crystal River Global Limited (0.8%) and the Government of the Democratic Republic of Congo (20%). It's a very large, near-surface, flat-lying, stratiform copper deposit with adjacent prospective exploration areas within the Central African Copperbelt, at approximately 25 kilometers west of the town of Kolwezi and about 270 kilometers west of the provincial capital of Lubumbashi.

To manage and ensure the safe and effective operation and maintenance of smelter electrical equipment 、mechanical equipment according to production objectives. The incumbent supervises the mechanical and electrical engineers, furnace construction engineers, and WHB&ESP engineers to ensure the efficient and effective operation of the smelter's electromechanical equipment, furnace, WHB&ESP and other equipment.

You will have the following:
• Must have a Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Must have at least 5 years’ experience working in a maintenance workshop in a copper smelter environment
• Must have at least 5 years experience in smelting equipment and equipment
• Must have at least 2 years supervisory experience.
• Proficiency in business English is mandatory. Knowledge of French, Swahili, and Mandarin will be considered highly advantageous.

Your Key Performance Activities will include but not limited to:

• Responsible for the daily management of mechanical and electrical equipment, furnace and WHB& ESP in the smelter
• Stakeholder Management - Build working relationships across teams and financial lines to enhance work delivery , collaboration and innovation
• People Management – Coordinate, monitor and supervise the perform of direct reports
• Finance – Monitor costs or expenses to achieve cost efficiencies and reduce waste
• Transformation – Support the transformation agenda
• HSEQ – Integrated HSEQ into all t work processes
